Logitech officially announced its first-ever cloud gaming console on September 21, 2022. Logitech combined its hardware expertise with Tencent’s software service to co-create this highly anticipated device that supports cloud gaming services such as Nvidia GeForce Now and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The console will be available for $349.99 in October.
Logitech G is a leading International brand of Logitech that offers PC, console gaming gear, industry-leading keyboards, headsets, simulation products such as wheels, flight sticks, and many other devices. It is exciting to see that despite packing a lot of hardware, the Logitech G Cloud will weigh 462 grams, slightly more than the weight of the Nintendo Switch OLED. Other key features of this device include:
- The Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor is powering the Gaming Handheld.
- A seven-inch 1080p 16:9 HD touchscreen with a refresh rate of 60Hz that is exclusive to consoles. It will also support multi-touch.
- The display will have a maximum brightness of 450 nits which is great for improving outdoor gaming with a battery life of 12+ hours.
- This device will also include a noise cancellation microphone and stereo speakers.
Built-in Wi-Fi. - A Nintendo Switch-style with a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port that can be used for either charging or audio and Bluetooth 5.1 with Qualcomm’s aptXTM Adaptive support design.
Cloud gaming allows players all over the world to play on whatever device they want, whenever they want and wherever they want with Wi-Fi. Logitech G has done an incredible job by enabling gamers to enjoy their favorite games without relying on TV or a computer. The Logitech G Cloud is an Android-based device with extensive integrations with Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Nvidia GeForce Now makes it significantly different from other handheld consoles.
