After canceling the event of 2022 (which was supposed to be an online event), E3 2023 has announced the details regarding its physical event, which will take place from June 13–16, crushing all uncertainties developed around it during the past three years. After a year gap, E3 is returning to the Los Angeles Convention Center. ReedPop and the Entertainment Software Association made the information public on Monday.
“Our vision is to reconnect the industry by reestablishing the historic E3 week, bring back that spark, and restore E3’s status as a genuinely magical global showcase event for game creators and consumers,” the VP of ReedPop stated.
This mega event will split the consumer and commercial sides of the industry into two distinct parts, unlike previous events that integrated both. From June 13 to 15, the event will begin with a focus on industry professionals and gaming media. Moreover, on June 15 and 16, E3 Gamers Days will be hosted, providing gamers the chance to interact with developers and creators. Along with that they will be given a chance to experience what the future of gaming will look like.
From its past events, E3 has also been on the target of different controversies, but this time, everyone expects that it will match up to the high standards for which it was once known. Publishers, developers, journalists, content creators, producers, buyers, and licensors are all invited to E3 2023. While the registrations for the event will eventually start in December 2022.
