A video has just leaked on Icon Era confirming Housemarque’s punishing shooter Returnal is coming to PCs. In the video, PC port game settings can be seen, showing that players will be able to customize the game’s graphic settings. It also shows screen optimization settings supporting NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR. Returnal’s PC port was included in a massive ‘leak’ of unannounced games on Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service.
On April 30, 2021, it was released for the PlayStation 5. Selene Vassos, an astronaut, is trapped in a time loop after landing on the planet Atropos in search of the mysterious “White Shadow” signal. The biggest hook in “Returnal,” as the title implies, is that when you die, you “return” to the beginning and must restart the game.
Previously VGC also shared a video showing Returnal running on PCS. It was also mentioned on SteamDB under Tower Sisyphus, later renamed to Oregon, and Jimmy Ryan, PlayStation boss, said that Sony expects half of its annual releases to be on PC, saying we can expect a huge announcement from Sony in the upcoming weeks. However, we can not predict whether it will be released in 2022 or early 2023.
