In the first 2023 issue of the UK physical charts, God of War Ragnarok remained at the top position it had held since the previous year.
Sales of FIFA 23 were down 49%, yet the game still managed to hold into the number two slot in the top ten.
It was a long week for retail, and there were no new releases. As a result, week-on-week physical unit sales throughout the market were down 47% after dropping 52% the week before.
Compared to the previous year, 2022 was a down year for video game sales in the United Kingdom.
