The Callisto Protocol was developed by the current CEO of the PUBG Corporation development company Striking Distance, Glen Schofield. It is scheduled for release on December 2 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.
The single-player game is based on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320. The mission is to get out of a detention center after a mysterious outbreak starts to turn the prisoners into monsters.
Three videos on the Internet show at least two hours of leaked Callisto Protocol gameplay. Numerous sources and social media users suggested that content was cut from the main game for DLC.
