CD Projekt Red officially unveiled its next-gen update for The Witcher 3 previous month, making significant improvements to the game’s lighting, effects, and graphic detail and introducing some fresh material motivated by the Netflix Witcher TV series.
The update was terrific for fans, but what if you prefer physical media and want to buy the new native Xbox Series X/S and PS5 copies of The Witcher 3?
They have issued a statement to Insider Gaming verifying the release of physical copies of The Witcher 3 – Complete Edition for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
CD Projekt Red has said that “the package will contain only the disc as mentioned earlier,” implying that it would not include the other features.
Those who buy the boxed version of The Witcher 3 may have a smoother experience than those who played at launch, as multiple patches have since been released to fix technical issues.
Insider Gaming claims that The Witcher 3 will cost between $30 and $35 and will be released on January 26. The company has not commented on the price or release date.
