Ubisoft recently shared exciting details about the forthcoming release of Rainbow Six Siege’s Season 2 for Year 8, called Operation Dread Factor. Fans can look forward to a fresh new operator named Fenrir from Sweden, joining the game as a tactical defender, and equipped with a new gadget called F-NATT Dread Mine.
This gadget will release gas that temporarily impairs the attacker’s vision and disrupts their movements for a limited period, making them vulnerable to counterattacks. Fenrir is a two-speed, two-health operator who comes with MP7 or a SASG-12 as a primary weapon and BAILIFF 410 as a secondary.
In addition to the new operator, the season will also feature a much-needed rework of the Consulate map and numerous gameplay updates. Players can expect a new Aiming Lane for the Shooting Range and a new permanent arcade playlist, among other additions.
The Rainbow Six Siege dev notes reveal further information about the exciting update, which is set to go live on May 30th, 2023. With this new season, players can expect an enhanced gameplay experience that combines cutting-edge technology with innovative features that will make for an immersive gaming experience. Rainbow Six Siege’s Season 2 for Year 8 is poised to deliver yet another engaging chapter to this popular franchise, and fans can’t wait to dive in.
